High Density Machine Made Rugs
Rug manufactures are purchasing high tech looms that can weave rugs better than ever. Today, companies are continuing to push the envelope in producing rugs with more colors and with higher definition or detail. High Density machine made rugs can now have the look that you could of only gotten in a high knot count hand made rug just a few years ago. Rugs with 1,000,000 points per square meter or higher are in good demand by customers. At first, these high density area rugs were only being made with man made fibers but now companies like Home Dynamix have rug collections that offer wool rugs in high density construction of 1,000,000 points or more.

So, why doesn't your web page list the points per square meter for all (or s/b most) of the rugs you sell? (or some other standard density measure.) That's the problem with buying on line - it says 100% wool, but that doesn't really mean much. Providing more info would certainly give you an advantage over other on-line rug sellers.

You have a great idea on putting the point count or knot count on each rug. We try to do this on most of the high density rugs. I will instruct my employees to include the point count on all rugs in new rug entries and to update the other rugs as time permits. I am looking for a "tred" for my wood stairs as opposed to a "runner" which I feel would cover the beauty of the wood. Do you offer your styles in a Tred Size?
